Park City First Timers

There is no substitute for great storytelling. It’s compelling. It’s revealing. And it allows the viewer to escape into a different world.
Working with the Park City Chamber of Commerce | Convention & Visitors Bureau, RIESTER created the winter edition of Park City First Timers — a six-episode series showing how Park City is far more than just your average ski town.
With the help of our host, Makena Hawley — who consistently brought her enthusiasm and charm — we brought these winter adventures to life. Showcasing such escapades as fat tire biking, paddleboard yoga in a 10,000-year-old crater, dogsledding and other forms of heart-racing fun.
For the sake of uniqueness, each episode is filmed solely on GoPros — to capture the adventures from a first-person perspective. This allows for a sense of authenticity and exclusivity, while showing that anyone eager enough can partake in the action.
To promote the series, each episode included a fully-edited, two-minute video, 15-second teaser clip, photo gallery, social media posts, and two blogs: an adventure recap and a how-to guide.
Park City has and always will be a winter adventure haven, and through Park City First Timers we’ll continue to highlight all the thrills that can be had.
