RIESTER campaign wins big at Utah Tourism Conference.
RIESTER and their client, the Park City Chamber/Bureau, welcomed the news that their campaign won the first ever Outstanding Utah Advertising Award at the annual Utah Tourism Conference in September. The Utah Office of Tourism and the Utah Tourism Industry Association awarded this honor to the campaign for successfully and creatively drawing visitors to Park City for the Martin Luther King (MLK) 2016 holiday weekend.
RIESTER has a long, successful history in promoting tourism on the city, county, state and regional levels. Pioneering and employing creative and innovative advertising techniques brings in visitors and bolsters economies.
The MLK Holiday Campaign was developed to educate consumers that 1) Park City offers great deals for the holiday weekend and 2) the Sundance Film Festival dates shifted, so Park City is completely available for skiing. The campaign primarily utilized digital media to convey the message: A 3-day weekend is great. A 3-day weekend in Park City is extraordinary.
The marketing significantly increased visitation for the holiday weekend and the estimated ROI for the campaign was a staggering 150.29%.
Among all the other entries, Park City’s MLK Holiday Campaign was honored based on its innovation, measurable contributions to the Utah Tourism Industry and utilization of creative elements. RIESTER is thrilled at the recognition of the campaign and is honored to do successful work on behalf of an incredible client.
